Privacy Statement

Effective August 6, 2026

The short version: this site keeps no visitor accounts, sets no cookies, uses privacy-focused analytics that we host ourselves, and shows no ads. We collect as little as the internet allows.

1. What We Collect

Our hosting infrastructure (Amazon Web Services — CloudFront and S3) produces standard server logs: IP address, user agent, requested pages, and timestamps. We use these only for security and operational troubleshooting, and they are retained briefly and automatically.

2. Analytics, Cookies, and Tracking

We use Umami, an analytics service that we host ourselves on AWS, to understand aggregate visits and page use. When a page is viewed, Umami records the page address and title, referral and campaign information, visit time, screen size and browser language, browser and operating-system information, device type, and approximate country, region, and city. Umami uses the request IP address and browser user-agent transiently to determine approximate location and create a pseudonymous, site-specific session identifier; the raw IP address and full user-agent are not stored in the analytics database. The analytics script sets no cookies, stores no persistent visitor identifier in the browser, and does not track visitors across websites. We have not enabled user identification, custom events, performance monitoring, heatmaps, or session replay. Analytics records remain in our database until we delete them.

3. Email

If you email any address at tinymachines.io, your message is received and processed by Amazon SES and forwarded to our mailbox. We see what you send us — sender address, subject, and contents — and use it only to respond. Raw copies are automatically deleted from our infrastructure within 90 days.

4. Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share personal information with anyone, except as required by law. Our only "third party" is the cloud infrastructure the Site runs on (AWS).

5. Children

The Site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

6. Changes

If our practices change, this page will change with them, along with its effective date.
